Lisa Ann

Early Career and Hiatus
Lisa Ann entered the adult film industry in 1994 at the age of 22. She worked steadily for three years before stepping away in 1997 following an AIDS scare that rattled the industry. Her absence lasted nearly a decade. She returned in 2006, initially behind the camera as a director and producer before resuming on-screen work.
The Comeback and Cultural Moment
Her return gained serious momentum in 2008 with the release of "Who's Nailin' Paylin?," a political parody in which she portrayed "Serra Paylin." Released on Election Day 2008, the film crossed over into mainstream media coverage and became one of the most talked-about adult titles of its era. The role cemented Lisa Ann as a household name well beyond the industry's usual audience. She went on to build a filmography spanning over 600 titles, working with major studios including Hustler Video, Evil Angel, Brazzers, and Digital Playground. She also launched her own production website. Notable titles include "MILF Revolution," "Lisa Ann's School of MILF," and "Black Out 2: Jailed 'N Nailed." Frequent collaborators have included Alexis Fawx , Juelz Ventura , and Johnny Sins .
Awards and Recognition
Lisa Ann's award history is extensive. She received the AVN MILF/Cougar Performer of the Year in 2009 and was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame the same year. In 2025, she received the Fanny Award for Lifetime Achievement. Her total award count exceeds 30 wins across major industry organizations.
Post-Performance Career
Lisa Ann retired from performing in 2014, returned briefly in 2018, and has not performed since 2020. Her Italian-American heritage and petite 5'2" frame with brown hair and brown eyes defined her on-screen look throughout her career. She has spoken publicly about breast reduction surgery following her 2014 retirement. Since stepping away from performing, Lisa Ann has pursued sports commentary work with SiriusXM, hosted her podcast "The Lisa Ann Experience," and maintained an active presence on subscription platforms. Her career arc, spanning roughly 26 years of industry involvement from 1994 to 2020, places her firmly among adult entertainment's veteran models .
