Jelena Jensen

Entry into the Industry
Jelena was approached at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in 2003, at age 21. Not interested in hardcore work at the time, she started with solo photo shoots. Her first published work appeared in the August 2003 edition of Club magazine, shot by photographer Scott St. James. From there, she moved into softcore girl/girl scenes, working with studios such as Digital Playground, Girlfriends Films, and Penthouse. She appeared in major men's magazines including Penthouse and multiple Playboy special editions.
Career Progression
For over six years, Jelena worked exclusively in softcore content. That changed in 2009 when she filmed her first hardcore lesbian scene with Sandee Westgate for her own website. Later that same year, on June 22, she premiered her first boy/girl scene, performed with her husband. All of her male/female content has been with him. Over the course of her career, Jelena appeared in more than 400 films. Notable credits include Busty Cops (2004), the long-running Women Seeking Women series, and Casual Encounters (2014). She also took on mainstream projects, including a role in the horror comedy Bad Biology (2010) and appearances on Playboy TV's Totally Busted (2003 to 2006). She hosted The J Spot on Vivid Radio and was a guest on The Howard Stern Show.
Recognition
Jelena was named Penthouse Pet of the Month for March 2010. She won the XBIZ Award for Web Star of the Year in 2013 and received AVN nominations including Girl/Girl Performer of the Year in 2014 and Best Supporting Actress in 2017. In 2015, she was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame.
Physical Profile and Later Career
Standing 5'10" with natural breasts and measurements of 34DD-26-36, Jelena has stated publicly that she will never get plastic surgery. She is among the more recognizable tall models from her era. Having initially identified as straight, she later came to identify as bisexual after performing with over 100 women on camera across roughly a decade of girl/girl work. Jelena stepped away from studio film work in 2020 during the pandemic, closing out a career that spanned from 2003 to approximately 2024. She has continued producing solo, boy/girl, and girl/girl content independently and maintains an active social media presence.
